Matera - Location of IKFAD-KCWS 2012

Every second year IFKAD is back to Matera where the forum originated. Thus after the excellent IFKAD2011 hosted by the Tampere University of Technology in Tampere, Finland, the IFKAD 2012 will be held in Matera. Matera is a beautiful town located in the Basilicata region in Southern Italy.

The ancient part of Matera, named Sassi, represents a unique example of a cultural tradition and civilization which stretches back to the Neolithic age and it is considered one of the most enchanting places in the world. In fact, the old town of Matera is listed in the United Nations World Heritage list of cultural artefacts worth preserving at all cost.
