Stefano Zambon
Professor Stefano Zambon is the Chair of Accounting and Business Economics at the University of Ferrara, Italy, and an internationally renowned expert in the field of the measurement, valuation and management of intangibles and intellectual capital.
He holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. from London School of Economics, and a B.Sc from University of Venice. Director of the "CFO Master Programme" at the University of Ferrara jointly organised with the Italian Association of CFOs (ANDAF).

He has been a visiting scholar at London Business School; ESCP, HEC, and CNAM in Paris; the Universities of Reading, Melbourne, Boston, Metz, Canterbury (NZ), Waseda (Tokyo), and the Stern School of Business (NYU). He is a Vice-President of the International Association for Accounting Education and Research (IAAER). Professor Zambon is also the Chairman of both the Annual European Workshop and the European Young Researcher School on Intangibles and Intellectual Capital.
Member of the editorial boards of various international scientific journals, he has published several books and articles in international journals in the areas of management and reporting of intangibles, international financial reporting, and accounting history. He has been the coordinator of an official study for the European Commission on the measurement of intangible assets, and an invited key-note speaker on this topic at OECD, United Nations, European Parliament, European Commission, and Chinese and Japanese Governments' events. He collaborates as expert with the Commission on Intellectual Capital of the Association of the European Financial Analysts (EFFAS).
He is a founding member of the global network "World Intellectual Capital Initiative" (WICI) (www.wici-global.com), as well as of the network "WICI Europe". He is the Acting Chairman of WICI Europe and coordinator of WICI Italy.
