W.B. Lee
Prof. W.B. Lee, is the Chair Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Director of the Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre and the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center. He has served as the President of the Hong Kong Advancement of the Association of Science and Technology and Past Chairman of the Institution of Electrical Engineers Hong Kong.

Prof. Lee and his team have launched Asia's first on-line MSc. Programme in Knowledge Management Prof. and established the world's first bachelor degree in enterprise engineering. In 2000, he set up the first Digital Factory and subsequently the PolyU-Microsoft Enterprise Systems Centre. He has also pioneered the research and practice of knowledge management and intellectual capital management in various organizations which include manufacturing, public utilities, and various government departments. In 2007, he established the Knowledge Management Research Centre, the first of its kind in Hong Kong and Mainland China and has been recognized as one of the most active Centres in the promotion and practice of knowledge management worldwide.
Professor Lee is chief Editor of the International Journal of Knowledge and Systems Science, the co-editor of the Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems, associate editor of the International Journal of Learning and intellectual Capital , and member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Engineering Manufacture. His research interests include manufacturing engineering, manufacturing strategy, knowledge management, intellectual capital management and organizational learning . He has published two research monogram and has more than 200 papers published in referred journals and conferences
