Guidelines for Poster Presenters

    General aim and format
  • A poster presentation is a graphically based approach to presenting research. In presenting your research with a poster, you should aim to use the poster as a means for generating active discussion of the research.
  • Limit the text part and use "visuals" (graphs, photographs, maps, etc.)

    Design and layout specifications
  • The poster presentation should be done by 9 slides printed on A4 format
  • The presentations should be oriented in the "landscape" position (long dimension is horizontal)
  • Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster. The poster generally should read from left to right, and top to bottom.

Lettering
Print on plain white paper with a laser printer or inkjet printer.
Text should be readable from a distance. Use a minimum font size of 18 points.
Lettering for the title should be large and in bold. Possibly, do not use color background which makes it more difficult to read.

Display of poster presentation
The poster presentation is scheduled for Saturday 26 June 2010.
All presenters will be asked to display their presentation in the morning of 26 June 2010 before the conference day starts.
